As a butcher's sales assistant, you will be part of this promise of quality. You will provide our customers with expert advice on the origin, quality, preparation and use of our products, thereby actively contributing to the sale of our diverse range.
Your tasks will also include the attractive presentation of our goods at the counter – naturally in compliance with all hygiene regulations and with a keen eye for freshness and quality. You will prepare meat and sausage products, make delicatessen and snack products, and assist with serving and cashier duties.
Teamwork is particularly important to us: together with your colleagues, you will ensure that our customers feel completely at ease. A butcher's sales assistant combines specialist knowledge of food with a genuine enjoyment of working with people – creating a shopping experience that will be remembered.
The recommended school-leaving qualification for this training programme is a very good secondary school certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate. The training programme lasts 3 years.

Your tasks:
- Professional sale of meat and sausage products and friendly interaction with customers
- Preparation of goods for sale
- Appealing labelling, presentation and decoration of products at the sales counter
- Preparation, arranging and garnishing various foods and delicatessen items
- Operating the cash register and reliably carrying out cash register accounting
- Confident specialist knowledge of different types of meat and sausage
- Proper storage and stowing of goods in compliance with all hygiene and quality requirements
Your profile:
- School leaving certificate: very good secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate
- Enjoy working with people and have a strong service orientation
- Ability to work in a team and enjoy working with colleagues
- Friendly manner and strong communication skills when dealing with customers
- Commitment, reliability and a sense of responsibility in everyday work
- Responsible handling of hygiene and quality standards
