TANNENHOF Schwarzwälder Fleischwaren GmbH & Co. KG was established in 1975 by master butcher Hans Schnekenburger, and is now owned and run by the second generation of the Schnekenburger family. The family-run company has 140 employees at its location in Niedereschach in the Black Forest region in south-west Germany.
We are your competent partner for Black Forest Ham and German sausage specialities for the meat counter and the self-service section. The artisanal tradition of the recipes, state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and certification in accordance with DIN ISO 9001 and the IFS (International Food Standard) are the guarantee of maximum quality and product safety - also in organic quality. Our products are awarded prizes annually by the DLG (German Agricultural Society).
TANNENHOF International exports to 29 different countries inside and outside the EU. The majority of deliveries are made within Europe. The export share of the company lies at 40%. Due to our tradition and the traditional associated longstanding product know how, we offer core competence in the manufacturing of “Black Forest Ham P.G.I.” in different cuts for the service counter or freshly packed on the self-service shelves.
TANNENHOF Black Forest Ham is extremely popular with our European neighbours because of its mild salt content and mild smokiness, and has just the right flavour for European palates. Black Forest Ham P.G.I., which has EU protection of origin, bears the blue and yellow EU community logo.
